Can videos be lost? How does CAMBOX guarantee they aren’t?
No. This is CamBox’s core commitment: every video is simultaneously backed up across multiple independent server clusters in Vietnam. If one location experiences an issue, other copies remain intact—there is no single point of failure. Additionally, verification snapshots on /verify persist even after the original video expires.
What is the maximum retention period?
It depends on your plan: CAMBOX Mobile stores from 15 to 40 days, and CAMBOX Pro offers long-term durable storage as needed. This window covers the dispute period of most e-commerce platforms. For high-value orders that need longer retention, you can upgrade your plan or contact us.
What is the difference between CAMBOX Mobile and CAMBOX Pro?
CAMBOX Mobile is for small shops under 50 orders/day, recording with your phone and starting free. CAMBOX Pro uses EVOS cameras to record two angles automatically at the packing station, for SME shops with 50–300 orders/day that need productivity and the highest evidence quality.
Does the web version require a camera?
CAMBOX Pro uses EVOS cameras at your packing station to record two angles for the highest evidence quality. If you don’t have a camera yet, you can still start for free right on your phone with the CAMBOX Mobile app.
What can the Free plan do?
The Free plan lets you record & store packing videos on your phone, add basic encrypted watermarks, create a public /verify link, and store for 7 days. Enough to start protecting your important orders.
How long are videos stored? Do I lose evidence when they expire?
Retention depends on your plan (7 days to 24 months). Even after the original video expires, the verified snapshot on the /verify page (order code, timestamp, GPS, digital signature) is retained as evidence.
How do payments & invoices work?
Pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly with corresponding discounts. Full VAT invoices are issued. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
Is my data safe?
Videos are encrypted at rest, hosted on servers in Vietnam, and carry an SHA-256 digital signature to prevent tampering. Only you and the /verify links you share can access the evidence.
As a buyer, how do I check the evidence for my order?
Just open the /verify link (or scan the QR code) the shop sends with your order — no app or login required. The page shows the packing video along with the order code, time, location, and a “Verified” status.
Do I need a CAMBOX account to watch the video?
No. The /verify link is public, opens in any phone or computer browser, and is completely free for buyers.
Does recording the packing process expose my personal information?
The video only captures the product packing process. Personal details on the label (name, phone number, address) are not required to be shown and can be masked to protect your privacy.
My order arrived with missing or wrong items — how does the video help me?
You and the shop review the exact packing video for that order — with the order code, time, and GPS — for a transparent comparison. This resolves disputes quickly and fairly for both sides.
